In addition to her passion for art and learning, she harbors a deep love for nature fostered by the picturesque landscape of the Inland Northwest. Her art commonly reveals her affinity for dry media, particularly colored pencil, which is her preferred medium. In addition to paper, she enjoys drawing on Mylar, a type of plastic film, due to the unique effects she can achieve that are not possible with paper. Her work has been shown at the juried show Terrain in Spokane, Washington; the Wenaha Gallery in Dayton, Washington; and Emerge Gallery located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Currently, she is focusing on expanding her body of work by exploring different subjects, mediums, and styles.
